Firefighters were called to a house blaze which was caused by a faulty phone charger lead in a Doncaster bedroom.

Firefighters from Adwick were called at 7.30pm on Tuesday night to a fire in a house on Cotswold Gardens, Scawthorpe.

The fire was caused by a faulty phone charging lead in a bedroom.

The fire was out before crews arrived but once in attendance they isolated the electricity and used a ventilation fan to clear the smoke. No one was injured.
