The regional forecast for the Yorkshire and Humber region is as follows:

Today:

Windy, with gales possible around the coast. Heavy rain will push northwards during the day. Winds will ease down during the afternoon, with rain eventually clearing most parts by mid-afternoon. Relatively mild but feeling unpleasant in the wind and rain. Maximum Temperature 12C.

Tonight:

A much calmer night with dry conditions and light winds. Clear spells across many parts during the evening, but areas of mist, fog and low cloud will develop later. Chilly. Minimum Temperature 3C.

Saturday:

Misty and cloudy with fog lingering in many places through the day. No rain is expected though, with some brighter spells possible in places, mainly during the afternoon. Light winds. Maximum Temperature 10C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Perhaps mainly dry Sunday with variable cloud, but chance of some rain. Monday and Tuesday, variable, often large amounts of cloud, with some rain or showers. Risk of fog overnight.
