Do you believe in ghosts?

Exactly what is paranormal activity?

Are you brave enough to find out?

Now you have the opportunity of joining in with a professional ghost hunting and paranormal investigations company when the Simply Ghost Nights team host an investigation at the building in the heart of Doncaster city centre.

Built in 1873. the Corn Exchange was later to be discovered to be built upon a medieval graveyard.

Following a major fire in 1994, the Grade II listed building under went a huge restoration and during the refit, workers unearthed as many as five bodies believed to date back to medieval times.

A decision was made that rather than disturb them anymore, they left them in peace and filled the new floor without disturbing any more unearthed bodies.

A spokesperson said: “Simply Ghost Nights will be the first company to investigate this historical landmark.

“Traders tell us no one likes going in first to unlock their shops if they are alone.

“Staff have reported areas that give them a chill to the spine, and a man has been seen running throughout the hall many times.

“We are incredibly excited and very grateful to be offered a wonderful opportunity to go there.”

The location is not really suitable for people with disabilities due to a number of sloping tunnels, stairs and underground areas.

Participants will take part in séances, ouija board and table tipping experiments and use the latest electrical ghost hunting equipment.

Places are strictly limited and tickets cost £45 per person. For more information, contact Simply Ghost Nights on 07949 943 893 or visit www.simplyghostnights.co.uk

The event will take place on October 30, the night before Halloween.
