Les Coulstock (38) was runner-up with Steve Hathaway (38) finishing third.

Roy Middleton (32 points) took the honours in Thornhurst Park’s Monthly Stableford on Friday. D Rowland (32) was second with K Christian (31) third.

Rowland (90 nett 68) was a clear winner of the club’s Bank Holiday Medal four days earlier. N Morton (98 nett 74) headed the chasing pack with D Cartwright (96 nett 76) claiming third spot.

P Firth (77 nett 68) just pipped P Hammond (97 nett 69) for first place in the club’s Monthly Medal competition on Sunday.

Hilary Haycox (nett 76) won Hickleton’s recent Lady Captain’s Drive In. Lis Rodgers (77) finished runner-up after beating Sheila Inglis on a better back-nine.

Sandra McMahon (33 pts) won the club’s McMillon Spoon Stableford. Lis Rodgers was second.

Sheila Inglis (75 nett) won the Ray Jowett competition from Amy Nowell and third-placed Yvonne Holmes.

Mark and Carol Ellis (41 pts) won the club’s Bank Holiday Artkinson Mixed Trophy. Freddy Braddock and Jasmine Rees (40 pts) were runners-up in the stableford competition.

Wheatley carded a 6-2 win over Hillsborough in their Sheffield Union clash.

Lee Moorwood (41 pts) won the club’s Stableford from Richard Clarke, Steve Brennan, Phil Tasker and Jackie Moore, who all posted a score of 39 points.
