The GoFundMe page, organised by Cheryl Scott, has so far raised just over £450.
A post on the page reads: “As most of Doncaster now know, a tragic accident happened in the Woodlands area which resulted in a 12 day old baby boy losing his life in the most unbearable way possible.
"It would be nice to raise as much funding as is possible in such a sad and traumatic, unforeseen situation.

"Elon deserves the best send off possible and we are grateful for all donations even if it’s just a small gesture of a £1, it all helps.
"Elon touched the hearts of so many people in his very short time with us. His tragic accident has devastated the whole community. Please let’s give this little angel the send off he deserves.”Emergency services were called to the family home at around 3.30pm last Sunday.
It is understood that the dog had escaped from a pen in the back garden and bounded into the house, snatching Elon in its jaws.
