Dozens of firefighters have been at the Morris Metals recycling plant in Balby Carr Bank since last night – with more than 60 and 12 appliances tackling the blaze at its height.
And while the worst of the fire is now out, crews are expected to remain at the scene throughout the day as the fight to contain the blaze goes on.
