In celebration of National Women in Engineering Day 2016, an ‘Engineering Imagination’ event will take place in the Winter Garden, Sheffield, this Sunday, June 19.
From robots and candyfloss to a giant construction of a tetrahedron, students and staff have ensured attractions for all.
Work on a chocolate experiment, interact with robots or discover how to safely decommission a Nuclear power plant.
Dr Rachael Rothman, Faculty Director for Women in Engineering, said: “History’s greatest inventions came from somebody’s imagination. An imaginative child is likely to create, invent and possibly change the world.”
