Former Hayfield School pupil Paul Hill named in England's Six Nations squad

Former Hayfield School pupil and Doncaster Knights junior Paul Hill has been named in Eddie Jones' initial 33-man squad for the Six Nations.

Hill, 20, is one of seven uncapped players in new head coach Jones' first squad.

The Northampton Saints tight-head prop has represented England at several junior levels and was part of the England U20s team that won the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship.

Hill came through Yorkshire Carnegie's academy prior to him joining Saints last year.

He was born in Aschaffenburg in Bavaria, Germany, before moving to England and first playing rugby for the Doncaster Knights U7 team.

He studied at Misterton Primary School and Hayfield School in Doncaster.

The 33-man squad will meet up at Pennyhill Park on Sunday 24 January to begin preparations for England’s opening match against Scotland at Murrayfield on 6 February.
