Firefighers deal with car fire near Doncaster racecourse

A single fire engine from nearby Doncaster Fire Station, which is located just yards away on Leicester Avenue, off Leger Way, was sent to the scene at around 7.30pm last night, and the crew found the car alight near the straight mile.

The crew turned a hosereel on the blaze to douse the flames, and spent around 30 minutes on the site dealing with the fire.
