With Doncaster having been in lockdown for three months, many will not have seen how close to completion these high profile schemes are now looking on College Road and Waterdale.
But our pictures show how the Danum Gallery, Library and Museum is starting to look complete, with hoardings that had previously obscured the frontage now removed. The scheme had been due for completion late this summer.
Nearby, the planned Doncaster cinema and restaurant complex can been seen to be now resembling the plans that were drawn up for its development.
And the Doncaster University Technical College, close to the cinema is now looking like the artists’s impression.
Both are built on land that was once occupied by the former Council House building, which was used by Doncaster Council as its main office, and had previously been used by the National Coal Board.
