Police called and parish council apologises after drunken teen party rampage in Doncaster
Officers were called to Rossington Memorial Hall in McConnell Crescent on Saturday night as chaos erupted – with gangs of youths – some reported to be as young as 12 – reportedly being sick in people’s gardens, urinating on cars and narrowly avoiding being run over.
Other residents reported being verbally abused by drunken teens, with bottles thrown at properties and cars vandalised, while others reported drug taking outside homes.

Hide AdPolice were called to break-up the party – but a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said that no crimes had been committed – and that no further details would be released.

It is understood that details of the party were circulated on social messaging app Snapchat, with teens from across Doncaster descending on Rossington for the party.
Video shows huge groups of teens gathered outside the hall, screaming and shouting and reportedly fighting and then scattering as police arrive.
One upset resident said: "The party got out of hand. (They were) fighting and verbally abusing residents when asked to stay off their properties.

"P***ing and puking in my garden, throwing glass bottles at my home, doing drugs, threatening me and my family, attempting to vandalise our car.
“I’m sorry but there is no excuse for bad manners and disrespect.”
Another said: “Who’s organised this party at the Memorial Hall with all the under age kids drinking and falling all over the street, nearly getting run over, crying shouting for help?
“What a state.”

Hide AdA spokesperson for Rossington Parish Council said: “The Rossington Memorial Hall management committee would like to express their sincerest apologies to all residents on McConnell Crescent and surrounding streets.
“We are shocked and horrified by the events and grateful that no-one was injured.
“We operate a successful and busy community centre that is appreciated by many, never would we knowingly allow such behaviour and on reflection we will be changing our booking policy to avoid anything like this happening again.”
