Concerned police mount search for missing Doncaster teen last seen wearing dressing gown over a day ago

Worried police have mounted a search for a missing 17-year-old girl from Doncaster, who was last seen over a day ago.

Chanel was last seen at 10am yesterday (Tuesday, September 15, 2026) in the Thorne area of Doncaster.

She has since been reported missing.

Police have tonight launched a public appeal to find her.

A force spokesperson said: “Chanel is described as a white woman, approx. 5ft 6ins tall, and with long brown hair.

“She was last seen wearing navy blue and white striped pyjama top and a light pink dressing gown.

“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Chanel’s welfare and want to speak to anybody who has seen her.

“Have you seen her? Do you know where she might be?”
