Doncaster YouTube 'auditor' blasted after haranguing police in latest bust-up clip

It comes just weeks after the same vlogger was caught up in a bizarre row at a Doncaster shop

A YouTuber has been blasted after he filmed himself haranguing police officers attending an incident in Doncaster, telling them to “jog on” and “get back to work” and accusing one of “a bad attitude” when he asked for details of the incident.

It comes just weeks after the same video blogger was caught in a bizarre bust-up at Doncaster shop where he and other self-styled “auditor” filmed themselves clashing with staff.

The latest clip, uploaded to the TR Drones page with the title “this police officer has a bad attitude,” sees the vlogger approach an officer outside a property in Balby Road, although it is not clear when the footage was filmed.

He can be heard asking: “Is it a raid?,” while filming the officer.

“What have you done? What’s happened?,” he asks, while the officer responds: “You don’t need to know do you?”

When the YouTuber replies: “I mean, it’s a bit of public interest really,” the officer replies: “You’re just being nosey, is that what it is? Come on, be honest with me.”

The vlogger responds: “You’ve got an attitude. I was walking past, just wanting to know what’s going on. You’ve got an a*** on mate.”

As the officers walk back to their patrol car, he follows after them shouting: “Jog on - what a sausage. Get back to work!

“If you are not going to identify properly to a member of the public, crack on.”

The clips are part of a strange internet craze known as auditing where vloggers turn up unannounced and unvited at police incidents, shops and businesses and begin filming - often looking to provoke an angry reaction from those being filmed.

Drone users and mobile phone operators claim they are “auditing” - but videos regularly see so-called auditors clashing with police, security guards and staff with accusations being of creating deliberately provocative videos and antagonising people to crank up video hits.

So-callled auditors are on the rise in the UK, with wannabe social media stars flying drones over factories, police stations and shopping centres and being watched by thousands of people online – with viewers tuning in to watch them face challenges.

Several weeks ago, TR Drones and another page, Auditing Yorkshire, made headlines when they filmed themselves at the Discount Food Warehouse in Mexborough arguing over the store’s basket policy and being asked to leave the premises.

The latest clip has also met with critcism.

One user told TR Drones: “I would love it if the copper gave him a proper good slap, but he is too professional. “

Another wrote: “He absolutely owned you. Not very good at this are you? “

Another added: “Only one sausage here, and it's guy with the camera.”

But the clip did garner some support.

One wrote: “And then the police wonder why nobody will help em any more,” with another posting: “ Well done mate, the police need auditing daily.”

When asked for a response to the video, TR Drones responded: “I’m working at the moment, I will get back to you tonight!”

Later, in a message to Free Press reporter Darren Burke, he replied: “My statement. Good morning Darren, apologies for the late reply.

“We’ve been out creating the content you’re now writing about,” adding: “Like. Comment. Subscribe.”

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said officers had attended the premises over a person refusing to leave the property.
