Motormouth Doncaster born TV host Jeremy Clarkson has sparked fresh Falklands War fury - by describing Argentina as "bolshy war-losing b****** w*****s" in a new blast.

The outspoken host refused to back down over a Top Gear stunt in 2014 when he drove through Argentina in a car with the numberplate H982 FLK - seen by Argentine war veterans as an insult over the 1982 Falklands War between Britain and the South American country.

According to the Daily Mirror, Clarkson said: “I knew the s*** would hit the fan” – referring to anger over the plate, which featured the year of the war and the letters FLK - thought to be an abbreviation for Falklands.

Locals were furious when it was spotted as the crew filmed in Ushuaia, southern Argentina.

“They are just a bolshy bunch of war losing b****** w******," he went on in a public talk at the China Exchange in central London.

“If I ever go back there again the number plate will be W3 W0N, we won. I’ve got no time for it.”

In total, 649 Argentinians, 255 Brits and three Falkland Islanders died in the 1982 conflict over the South Atlantic islands.

Clarkson and his crew fled as anger boiled over while filming and they convoy was attacked as their hotel was stormed.

The furore sparked a diplomatic incident and Argentina’s ambassador Alicia Castro called the H982 FKL plate “malicious mockery” of those who fought in the Falklands. There was even a threat of jail.

The BBC denies the car was bought for its plate or changed after purchase.

Clarkson was axed from Top Gear last year after punching a producer in a row over a steak and is now putting together a new programme for Amazon with former co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May.
