The presenter features on CBeebies
A Doncaster born TV presenter has been named as one of Britain’s rising stars in a prestigious power list.
Chantelle Lindsay, a wildlife conservationist who apppears on CBeebies, was named in the annual ENDS Report Power List 2026.
The report celebrates the UK's 100 most impactful environmental changemakers, including campaigners, influencers, and lawyers.
To mark its fifth anniversary, the publication introduced a rising stars category featuring 14 under-35 early-career environmentalists making major waves for the natural world.
Chantelle serves as Senior Nature Recovery Officer for the London Wildlife Trust and manages the ancient habitats of Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood.
She was commended for her dedication to breaking down barriers to nature for young people and underrepresented black communities.
As the co-host of the CBeebies show Teeny Tiny Creatures, a series designed to educate young children on the vital roles of the UK's smallest invertebrates, she has become a familiar face to youngsters.
Her interest in wildlife began at a young age; she had a safari-themed bedroom in her early childhood and recalls her parents hosting events in their garden in Doncaster.
As a teenager, Lindsay became inspired to pursue conservation as a career and went on to graduate from the University of Wolverhampton in 2016 with a degree in Animal Behaviour and Wildlife Conservation.
She has also appeared on Springwatch and Blue Peter.
