The new campaign by You Can Adopt is about celebrating the everyday moments that help make a family and features former Paralympian Ellie Simmonds OBE and post adoption social worker and former Love Island winner Sanam Fagan.

Since appearing on The Traitors at the beginning of the year, both Judy and Roxy have been working hard to highlight the challenges faced by children in the care system who are some of the most vulnerable in society based on their own experience.

Judy adopted Roxy when she was just two years of age and has worked in Children’s Service and Foster Care in Doncaster for the past 23 years.

They are both now ambassadors for Adoption UK and The Fostering Network. At the beginning of the year, they also helped launch the central government campaign to encourage people to adopt with Minister for Children and Families, Josh MacAlister.

For anyone in the local area wanting to learn more about adopting then you can chat to the local council adoption team during National Adoption Week on Tuesday 20 October in Doncaster Civic Offices from 2pm to 4pm.

The child liaison officer, 60, was the first person to be voted out of her series after a tense roundtable that saw her reveal herself as a Faithful.

Roxy, 32, who gave birth to her first child. earlier this year, praised Judy for adopting her and said: 'I have been the luckiest person and blessed, I absolutely couldn't have asked for anything better in my life.'

“Having a role model who mothered me and changed my life, the course of my life, everything about it.

The mother-daughter duo cemented themselves as fan-favourites after delivering one of the first twists of the new season – that they were, in fact, related, and keeping it a secret from everyone else in the castle.
