Doncaster Rovers to hold Open Day this weekend

Young Doncaster Rovers fans will have the chance to play against their favourite players on the Keepmoat pitch as the club hold their annual Open Day this weekend.

Boss Grant McCann will hold a public training session on the pitch from 11am on Saturday and afterwards selected junior members will be invited on to take part in a game against the senior squad.

All available first team players will take part in a signing session afterwards.

The Open Day begins at 10am with supporters able to watch Academy players train on Club Doncaster pitches.

A full first team photo will then take place in front of the South Stand with supporters encouraged to be a part of.

A variety of activities will take place throughout the day, running until 2pm.

Club Doncaster Foundation, South Yorkshire Fire Service and St John’s Ambulance will be on hand while there will be opportunity to ride on electric go-karts.

Stadium tours will be held through the day, conducted by members of the Rovers youth team.

The Club Doncaster Shop will be back open following recent renovations.

And players from Doncaster RLFC will meet supporters on the day.
