Doncaster park to play host to huge family fun day
The event will raise funds for cancer charity Firefly
A family fun day raising funds for a Doncaster cancer charity is to be held in a city park.
The Time Out event at Adwick Park, organised by the Great North Medical Group, will take place on July 26.
Organised in partnership with their Patient Participation Group and Adwick le Street Cricket Club, the event is to raise cash for cancer support charity Firefly.
The family-friendly gathering will take place on from 10am to 4pm
Designed to bring the community together for a fun day out, the event will feature a diverse lineup of entertainment, stalls, and games suitable for both children and adults.
Visitors to Adwick Park can expect:
- Food & Drink: A variety of local food stalls, hot burgers, coffee, and refreshments.
- Games & Prizes: Traditional fundraising activities including a raffle, a tombola, and interactive games.
- Family Fun: Dedicated activities for children, including face painting.
- Community Hub: Information stalls and an 'Info Tent' hosted by Great North Medical Group to connect residents with local healthcare resources.
