Alysha Jacques 21, was recently given the heartbreaking news that she has terminal liver disease – and is sadly not expected to live beyond 30.

Now her brother Ryan and family and friends are rallying round so she can take her son Joshua, six, on the holiday of a lifetime to Florida.

Ryan has agreed to take on a sky dive while family friend Joey James will take on a charity walk this weekend.

Said Alysha: “When I was 15, I got told my liver was damaged and nothing was ever done about it. For many years I’ve been in nothing but pain and poorly.

“After a lot of scans, camera tests and other things, I was given until 30 to live a few weeks ago.

"No medication or anything is going to help and I now have until I am 30 to live.

"I’m not going to get better and things can only get worse from here.

"My poor little man Joshua doesn’t and isn’t going to know a thing as he will be heartbroken. Here’s to making the best memories with my family and friends and please everyone, live every day like its your last.”

Brother Ryan said: “She just has to live her life now. It’s torn our family to bits.

"My worst fear is heights so I’ve decided to put it to the test and do a sky dive to send her on her dream holiday to Disneyland.”

Meanwhile, family friend Joey James is also fundraising for Alysha, Joshua and Joshua’s stepdad Bobby.

He will take on a 12 hour non-stop walk, trekking a minimum of 60 kilometres walking from his home in Wheatley to Sheffield railway station and back tomorrow.

He said: “Alysha is the type of person that would do anything for anyone and has certainly pulled me out the s*** over the years.

“Her little boy Joshua has always wanted to go to Disneyland and I aim to raise as much money as possible to get her little man there.
