Doncaster house was deliberately set on fire last night

Arsonists are believed to be responsible for a house fire which happened last night, Thursday, June 17.

Five fire crews from Adwick, Thorne, Maltby and Doncaster stations were called out to the property, which thankfully was vacant, at 10pm on Westminster Crescent in Intake.

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.” The crews came away at 1am.

Thorne firefighters attended a deliberate grass fire at 7.20pm on Coronation Road, Stainforth. The crew came away at 7.45pm.
