Sargents Bakeries is set for a bumper the UK’s fifth-largest supermarket’s festive range of mince pies, which will include frangipanes and flavoured crumble varieties.

Aldi said the successful partnership has helped the South Yorkshire business grow from having an annual turnover of £2 million to £8 million, allowing it to invest £500,000 in a new production line and nearly double the work shifts available to its 200 staff members.
