Dinner lady who won £75,000 lotto could win another one million pounds, thanks to our appeal
Angela Mahoney, 52, of Bentley, used numbers from her late mother’s date of birth to win £75,000 from a £1 stake on a Betfred Irish Lottery game.
As with anyone who picks all three bonus balls, Angela now has the chance to enter a special draw to win an additional one million pounds.

Hide AdEarlier this week we launched an appeal to trace a mystery couple before the special draw deadline expired at noon on Saturday.
That couple turned out to be Angela’s friend and neighbour Katrina Werrart and her partner Brian.
Angela was amongst the many who told Katrina she fitted the description and she should get to the Betfred shop as soon as possible.
But in the shop it was quickly established that the winning betting slip was one Katrina had put on for her pal Angela.

Hide AdKatrina had joked she would give Angela £1,000 for alerting her – and naturally that kindness is being reciprocated with Angela now giving Katrina £1,000.
Friends eventually recognised it was Angela and she claimed her chance – just in the nick of time.
If Angela – who has picked her mother’s favourite number 35 – does choose the bonus ball she’ll make history as the first winner of the special bet.
Granny Angie, as she is known to the children she serves meals to, said she lost her mother Sarah who died in January.

“So when I picked the bonus ball lotto I chose 29, 6 and 27 – and all three came up.
“I lost my daughter Julie-ann aged 33 this year too so I have been having a terrible time of it until now.
“My mum looked after me when she was alive and she’s looking after me now.“

Hide AdStraight-talking Angela said she is undecided about what to spend the cash she has won – and stands to win – on.
She said: “It just hasn’t sunk in yet that I have won £75,000 never mind a possible million. One of my grandsons has asked for a new computer and a jogging suit which I will get him.”
Angela added: “I have a nice Christmas tree but no presents underneath it, not yet anyway. We are going to have a good Christmas now, perhaps the best ever. This year has just been horrible, terrible really. I couldn’t wait for the new one to start and then this happens to me. I just can’t believe it.”
Earlier this week we reported how Betfred bookies were looking to trace a mystery couple who had a shot at winning one million pounds.
