Despair as thieves steal Christmas snowmen from roof of Doncaster coffee shop

Raiders targeted Brew Box near Doncaster Royal Infirmary overnight, making off with three festive decorations on the roof.

Owner Vron Oates was left devastated when she turned up for work to find the figures gone.

She said: “They were still there at 10.30pm last night and we presume they went in the early hours.

“We haven’t any CCTV but are hoping DRI may have seen something.

“They must have had ladders and tools as they were well fastened down to a wooden frame I had made for them to sit on securely.”

The biggest snowman was left behind while the three smaller figures - joined together by one plug – were taken.

Added Vron: “They only lasted a week.”

The tiny takeaway in a converted police box first opened its doors this summer.
