It was set up after a wind farm developer brought a 34 turbine site to North Lincolnshire and pledged more than £8.5m for community projects.

As well as the SSE Keadby Wind Farm Community Fund, the funding also provides the Sustainable Development Fund for North Lincolnshire-wide projects.

Both projects are targeted towards community benefit projects, but the SDF is to support projects that could be transformational for those communities. SDF will reopen again in early 2016.
