The calls for aÂ clash between the ever-entertaining Doncaster fighter and ex-WBA champion Browne have grown louder in recent weeks with both men keen to see the fight made.
But Allen '“Â who weighed in at 18st 5lbs 11oz on Friday -Â has another piece of business to take care of first when he faces Germany's Samir Nebo in Newcastle on Saturday night.
'I'm going to get Nebo on the hook and I'm going to smash him', Allen said.Â 'I will never win another fight on points.Â None of them will ever go the distance ever again.
'I fully anticipate knocking out Samir Nebo inside four rounds.

'He looks solid, like he knows what he's doing.
'He's just outside the top 100 in the world and it's another good challenge for me.
'I see it as a building block towards a big fight hopefully towards the end of the year.'
It is only a few months since Allen was suggesting he would take a sabbatical from the sport.
But what he declared a '˜life-changing knockout' of Nick Webb in July has transformed his fortunes and talk of big fights has returned.
As for veteran Browne, Allen believes a showdown would come at the right time for him, should it be confirmed.
'He's old enough to be my dad but Lucas Browne is a tough, strong, powerful man,' he said.Â 'I think if the fight happens next it'll be at the right time for me.
'I'm young, fresh and I'm coming through.
'He was the heavyweightÂ champion of the world but I'm the future and I think it would be a fantastic fight.
'I'll take the Browne fight in December, I'm ready for it.
'I need to beat Samir Nebo in devastating fashion first.'
