Danum Eagles turn on style in play-offs
Danum Eagles produced their best team performance of the season to beat Oxford Brookes University 107-78 and reach the play-off semi-finals.
Eagles, chasing their second successive promotion, lost to Oxford in last season’s play-offs.
But there was no stopping them this time round as Mathew Martin, who finished up with 31 points, and George Colwill, who totalled 19, fired the hosts into a 15-point half time lead.
Eighteen-year-old Liam Knapp then came to the fore in the third quarter. He poured in a total of 24 points.
