The Doncaster side travelled to London with only seven fit players but produced a spirited performance to record only their fourth win of a difficult season.

Mathew Martin led the Eagles with 22 points, supported by Paul Walsh (19) and Josh Metcalf (15).

“To say the players gave everything they could is an understatement,” said head coach Bob Martin.

Eagles’ juniors both faced Killamarsh Derbyshire Arrows. The U18s lost 99-93 while the U16s won 80-59.
