Customers hit as computer crash blacks out Doncaster insurance firm

Customers at a Doncaster insurance firm have been cut off after a computer system crash blacked out phone lines, websites and emails.

One Call Insurance, which is based in Black Bank, was hit yesterday, with customers unable to get in touch with the firm.

A company spokesman wrote on Twitter: “We’re experiencing some technical issues this morning, meaning we’re uncontactable via telephone and live chat.

"You may also experience difficulties accessing our customer portal.

“We’re really sorry for any inconvenience caused

An update followed later in the day, announcing: “The system issues we’ve been experiencing all day are unfortunately ongoing.

“Please accept our sincere apologies.

“We’re hopeful that we’ll return to full operations tomorrow.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused, we appreciate this is frustrating.

“We’re working hard to get a resolution timeframe and appreciate your understanding and patience with this matter. We aren’t able to access policy information during this time. We appreciate this is frustrating and apologise.
