Mike Zeberdee of Victoria Court in Bentley captured the moment one man, dressed rather strangely, attempted to break into his car, parked on his driveway, while another man kept lookout at 3.06am.

Despite being unsuccessful getting into Mike’s vehicle, the culprit did steal from the neighbour’s car whose passenger door was unlocked.

Mike said: "We need to get these people caught, it's unfair what they are doing. Only one word for them scumbags.”

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “An investigation is underway after a report of vehicle interference in Bentley, Doncaster yesterday (20 May).

“Police were notified that a man was trying the door handles of cars parked in Victoria Court at around 3am.

“We are now in the process of reviewing CCTV cameras on the streets in an effort to identify the suspect.
