These are the latest convictions from Doncaster and Sheffield magistrates' courts

The following were convicted at Doncaster magistrates’ courts from December 24, 2019 to January 3, 2020.

Robert Holpert: aged 42, of Cadeby Avenue, Conisbrough, theft, 28 days in prison, £122 costs.

Angela Kershaw: aged 33, of Hirst Gate, Mexborough, theft, 28 days in prison, £122 costs.

Dawn Lynette Mace: aged 41, of Farmall Close, Dunscroft, assault by beating, discharged conditionally for nine months, £21 costs.

Craig Andrew Richardson: aged 26, of Ronald Road, Balby, criminal damage, restraining order imposed, £100 compensation.

Wayne Ferguson: aged 32, of Smith Square, Hexthorpe, criminal damage, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £106 costs.

Richard Johnson: aged 46, of Church Street, Mexborough, possession of a class B drug, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £106 costs, order for the destruction of the drug.

Shane Michael Wyman: aged 25, of Highfield Road, Town Centre, failed to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from prison, 14 days in prison.

Joseph Robert Corness: aged 24, of Washington Grove, Bentley, drink driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, £500 fine, £135 costs, disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 20 months.

James Malton: aged 42, of Manor Estate, Toll Bar, drink driving, £200 fine, £117 costs, disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 14 months.

Peter Ian Stone: aged 46, of Wharf Road, Town Centre, possession of two snappy bags of spice, committed a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge, £80 fine, £32 costs, order for the destruction of the drug.

Linda Tiffen: aged 53, of Anchorage Lane, Sprotborough, theft, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £106 costs.

Marie Winter: aged 80, of Ingham Road, Bawtry, drink driving, £215 fine, £117 costs, disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 14 months.

Mitchell Joe Batty: aged 18, of Waverley Avenue, Balby, theft, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £21 costs.

Matthew Holmes: aged 37, of HMP and YOI Moorland H M Prison, Bawtry Road, Lindholme, breach of restraining order, four weeks in prison, £200 costs.

Lindsey McGuiness: aged 23, of no fixed address, theft, £40 fine, £117 costs.

Joseph David Thompson: aged 32, of Westminster Crescent, Intake, assault by beating, committed a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge, community order, rehabilitation activity requirement, restraining order imposed, £100 compensation, £185 costs.

Jason Andrew Dunn: aged 47, of HMP Doncaster, Marsh Gate, failed to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from prison, criminal damage, committed a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence, 18 weeks in prison, £122 costs.

Lulian Chiriac: aged 37, of Littlemoor Lane, Balby, assault by beating, £400 fine, £125 costs.

Paul Michael Merritt: aged 54, of Clayfield View, Mexborough, with a view to gain for themselves or another, or with intent to cause loss to another, and without the consent of the proprietor, had in their possession or control in the course of a business, goods which bore, or the packaging of which bore, a sign identical to, or likely to be mistaken for, a registered trade mark with a view to them or another selling the said goods, community order, rehabilitation activity requirement, £175 costs, order for all counterfeit items to be seized and destroyed.

Mark James Flynn: aged 37, of Grove Place, Balby Bridge, theft, four weeks in prison, £160 compensation.

Lisa Martin: aged 42, of West End Lane, New Rossington, assaulted a police constable acting in their function as an emergency worker, community order, rehabilitation activity requirement, £100 fine, £100 compensation, £175 costs.

Chanele Thomson: aged 21, of Roberts Road, Balby, committed criminal damage in a racially aggravated incident, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, in a racially aggravated incident, community order, rehabilitation activity requirement, £500 compensation.

Sarah Burden: aged 45, of Markfield Drive, Flanderwell, Rotherham, theft, community order with curfew requirement, £175 costs.

Andrew Harrison: aged 29, of Woodsetts Road, North Anston, Rotherham, failed to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from prison, seven days in prison.

Christoper Myers: aged 37, of Woodside Walk, Wingfield, Rotherham, drink driving, driving without insurance, failed to surrender to custody, £800 fine, £125 costs, disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

Azad Khan: aged 31, of Cromford Street, Highfield, breach of restraining order, committed a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence, 16 weeks in prison, £122 costs.

Marcin Bogdan Borek: aged 24, of Lister Street, Clifton, Rotherham, carried a throwing knife in a public place without lawful authority, possession of a class B drug, carried a lock knife in a public place without lawful authority, failed to surrender to custody, community order, rehabilitation activity order, unpaid work requirement, £175 costs, order for the destruction of the throwing knife, order for the destruction of the drug, order for the destruction of the lock knife.
