Suspended sentence for Doncaster man who breached restraining and harassed male

A Doncaster man has been given a suspended prison sentence for possession of cannabis, harassment and breaching a restraining order.

Andrew Keith Dickerson appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on November 20 where he admitted the three offences.

Court records show that Dickerson, 31, of Tadcaster Close, Dinington, Doncaster, was caught in possession of three buds of cannabis on August 19 this year.

On August 14, Dickerson breached a restraining order imposed by Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on March 18 this year, preventing him from contacting a female.

Also on August 19, Dickerson harassed a male relative of the female by using “threatening words or behaviour.”

Dickerson was given a 14-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months for the three offences.

Magistrates also issued separate restraining orders preventing Dickerson from contacting his male victim, the female victim, and a number of other relatives.

He must also complete 20 rehabilitation days, and pay £100 in compensation, £106 in prosecution costs and a £128 victim surcharge.
