South Yorkshire man assaulted victim and threatened to burn his house down

A Doncaster man who assaulted another male and threatened to burn his house down has been given unpaid work, court records show.

Brett David Emberton, 36, of Glebe Road, Campsall, Doncaster, admitted the offences which took place on November 7, when he appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on December 2.

He was given a community order to include an alcohol treatment order and 60 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay £100 in compensation, £85 costs and a £95 victim surcharge.

A restraining order was also issued.
