The 31-year-old, of Bracken Road, Wincobank, Sheffield, was jailed for 12 weeks when he appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on November 18.

Records state that he was sent to prison because it “was a revenge attack where a weapon was used to commit the damage” and it was “aggravated because of the defendant’s previous convictions”.

On his release, Taylor must also pay £600 in compensation, £310 in prosecution costs and a £122 victim surcharge.
