Public warned over Doncaster man wanted by police for serious assault

Members of the public have been told to stay away from a man wanted in Doncaster in connection with a serious assault after launching an appeal to find him.

Police in Doncaster are appealing for information about the whereabouts of wanted man Joshua Deere.

Deere, 21, is wanted in connection with a Section 47 assault and criminal damage, which is reported to have been committed in Doncaster on Friday 3 April.

Deere, who comes from the Toll Bar area of Doncaster, is believed to be actively evading police and officers are keen to trace him.

The public are advised not to approach Deere but instead to contact police on 101 quoting crime reference number 14/69142/20.
