Police send message to community after Doncaster toddler murdered days after second birthday

Detectives investigating a murder in Doncaster are appealing for information to help them piece together the circumstances surrounding the death.

Keigan Ronnie O’Brien, aged two, died on Thursday, January 9 and a post mortem examination revealed the cause of death to be head injuries.

The tragic tot was admitted to hospital the day before after he suffered a cardiac arrest at his home in Bosworth Road, Adwick.

His mum, Sarah O’Brien, 32 and her partner, Martin Currie, 36, have both been accused of murder and are remanded in custody ahead of their case being heard at court.
