Police seal off Doncaster road after reports of a man thrown from a car

Police are investigating an incident which resulted in a man being taken to hospital with serious injuries in the early hours this morning.

Police received a report of a man found on Elizabeth Avenue in Kirk Sandall just before 12.20am.

Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains now.

An eyewitness said: “Young man 25-30s dumped out of a silver car and sped off. Beaten badly and bleeding but breathing.”
