A number of police vehicles were seen outside the Probation Office next to the Earl of Doncaster at around 3.15pm on Wednesday afternoon.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said the additional police presence on Bennethorpe was due to a police officer requiring assistance for a medical incident, adding: “The police officer was OK.”
