Police investigations are continuing into the deaths of four women in Donaster over a two month period.

On Tuesday, May 19, the body of Amanda Sedgwick, aged 49, was found in a property on Manor Way, Askern.

A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

On Sunday, May 24, Michelle Morris suffered a head injury during a disturbance at a property on Ramskir View, Stainforth.

The 52-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment but could not be saved and died in hospital three days later.

The two men, aged 47 and 33, and a 24-year-old woman were initially arrested on suspicion of assault after the reported disturbance but then re-arrested later on suspicion of murder.

On Monday, June 8, the body of a 28-year-old woman, who has not yet been named by South Yorkshire Police, was found in a property on Main Street, Mexborough, Doncaster.

Two men aged 27 and 33 were arrested on suspicion of murder.

And on Saturday, July 11, Claire Anderson, aged 35, died in a property on Thorne Road in the town.

She was initially found unconscious but was then pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Teams of detectives are still working on all four cases but nobody has been charged over any of the deaths.

None of the cases are linked.
