Police hunt for abducted woman in Doncaster continues

A police search for a woman abducted in Doncaster four days ago is continuing.

Detectives are investigating a report that two men ‘forced’ a woman into a car on Kenmare Crescent, Intake, at around 11.25pm Thursday night.

South Yorkshire Police said it is reported that a dark-coloured saloon reversed from Kenmare Crescent and travelled onto Sandringham Road before turning right onto Evelyn Avenue after the woman was bundled into the car.

DC Rachel Young said: “We are still looking in to the circumstances surrounding this incident. From reviewing nearby CCTV footage, we have reason to believe that the people involved may be known to each other.

“Our first priority is to carry out a welfare check on the woman in question and I would like to appeal to her directly to get in touch; please contact police as a matter of urgency, and let us know you’re ok.”
