'No pub garden for you:' Police's cheeky Lego message after Doncaster area burglar arrested

Police took a cheeky swipe at a suspected Doncaster area burglar by sharing a picture of a Lego policeman nicking a criminal with the message, ‘no pub garden for you.’

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said on Twitter: “After a short foot chase a 33 year old Maltby man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

"The man is currently residing in a basic suite at The Shepcote Lane Hotel whilst awaiting a visit from CID.

“#bangedtorights #copsandrobbers #nopubgardenforyou.”
