Man with knife hunted by police over attempted robbery at Chinese takeaway in Doncaster
A police hunt is under way for a man wanted over an attempted armed robbery at a Chinese takeaway in Doncaster.
He struck at Lucky Six on High Street, Bentley, just after 10pm on Monday, May 18.
South Yorkshire Police said he wore a balaclava and was armed with a knife when he burst into the shop demanding cash.
The would-be robber was chased from the shop empty-handed and fled in a silver Volkswagen Bora.
