Hundreds of pounds worth of drugs have been seized from two suspicious individuals in Doncaster
Doncaster police seized hundreds of pounds of crack cocaine and spice off two men whilst on patrol.
On June 24 police officers in plain clothes were patrolling Vaughan Avenue – they were alerted to two suspicious looking individuals.
South Yorkshire Police said: “As the officers approached the two males, they decided to make a run for it.
"After quite a spectacular take down by one of the officers, a male was detained.
"The other escaped, however he is known to officers and will be dealt with in due course.”
The detained male was searched and found to be in possession of over one ounce of ‘spice’ and £400 worth of ‘crack cocaine.’
The male admitted ‘possession with intent to supply’ and was taken to the cells and charged with the offence, he was later released under investigation.
