Fourth person charged in connection with Mexborough murder following re-arrest

A fourth person has been charged with the murder of Lewis Williams in Mexborough.

Jack Parkes, 20, of Arnold Crescent, Doncaster, will appear before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Saturday, January 30) charged with murder.

This follows his re-arrest by detectives earlier today. Three other people have been charged with murder.

Two boys, aged 16 and 17-years-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and a 20-year-old man. All three are currently on remand awaiting further court appearances.

The investigation into Lewis’ death continues and anyone who has information yet to speak to officers are asked to please get in touch.
