Face of the Doncaster quad biker who deliberately ploughed into 67-year-old and granddaughter

Jordan Fisher and a gang of other bikers were riding in Warren House Park, Askern, Doncaster, at about noon, on May 5, 2020, said prosecutor Gurdial Singh, when the man’s wife began filming them on her phone.

She warned them she would report them and was told to “f*** off.”

Fisher turned his bike around and drove it straight at the 67-year-old man, knocking him to the floor. His four-year-old granddaughter was also hit, and the bike came to a stop with its tyres "straddling her."

Fisher and his pillion passenger drove off, laughing. The man was left with a fracture behind the knee, and the little girl with bruises and swelling to her face.

In a statement, Fisher's victim said he "couldn't believe he and his granddaughter had been ploughed into."

"He was angry because the incident could have ended so differently."

Edward Moss, mitigating, said: "This defendant has been absolutely wracked with guilt from day one. He is a father of two children. The mere thought he could have injured a child in this way absolutely crucifies him.

"He knows there can be no excuses for what happened that day. He was a family man. He has not seen his children since he was remanded into custody.

"It's fair to say retribution has been sought. He was identified on Facebook. His dogs have been poisoned. His family have received threats from the local community.”

Fisher, 28, of South Street, Highfields, Doncaster, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, unlawfully causing grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The court heard he has previous convictions for interfering with a witness, in 2008, affray in 2010, and possession of drugs in 2019.

Judge Sarah Wright told him: "This was a deliberate act. You used that vehicle as a weapon. This was a despicable, shocking act on your part.

"What aggravates it is that you drove off without rendering assistance."

She sentenced Fisher to two years in prison and disqualified him from driving for 24 months and he will have to pass an extended test.
