Drunk arrested after racially abusing staff at Doncaster Royal Infimary

Police from the Doncaster Central Neighbourhood Policing Team were called out to Doncaster Royal Infirmary earlier today.

Officers responded to a call to the hospital where staff reported an aggressive man being racially abusive towards them.

He was arrested and is sobering up in the cells and will be interviewed later today.

The team also arrested a man on Priory Place on suspicion of a burglary, which occurred last week. The complainant spotted the suspect this morning and reported it to officers who quickly located and arrested him.

In a separate incident a man has been arrested this morning on suspicion of a burglary at a town centre pub.

The man, who has been wanted for questioning for some time, was located by officers on foot patrol today on Church Way.

Finally, they arrested a man on Thorne Road for failing to appear at court in Humberside for an offence of theft, he remains in police custody and will appear at court later today.
