Drugs suspect arrested in Doncaster park

A drugs suspect has been arrested in a Doncaster park after a police stop and search.

The man was arrested yesterday afternoon (November 20) at a park near Hawthorne Crescent, Mexborough, say officers, after a stop and search was carried out.

He is alleged to have been found in possession of 50 wraps of crack cocaine, and 20 wraps of heroin.

He was arrested just before 2pm, and has been released on bail.
