Dopey Doncaster thief in Harry Potter dressing gown films himself nicking CCTV camera
and live on Freeview channel 276
The clip shows the thief clambering up the outside of a Doncaster business to swipe the firm’s security camera.
But unlike the famous boy wizard, the clueless crook didn’t appear to possess many magical skills – being caught squarely by the camera before he made off with it.

Hide AdSocial media firm Be My Social, the firm targeted in the attack earlier this week, has shared footage of the incident on Facebook – and urged people to step forward with info about the man who was dressed head to foot in a black, amber and gold dressing gown, adorned with the Harry Potter ‘HP’ logo.
Sharing a tongue in cheek appeal, a spokesman for the marketing firm, which is based in Priory Place said: “Wanted by Azkaban – have you seen this wizard?
“In the early hours of May 12, a misguided young wizard committed the crime of theft in Doncaster town centre.
“Luckily, the enchanted item managed to betray this member of Gryffindor, and the Dementors are in full pursuit.
