Doncaster woman banned from the roads after she was caught behind the wheel more than twice over the limit

A Doncaster woman has been banned from the roads after being caught behind the wheel more than twice over the legal alcohol limit, court records show.

Stacey Harper appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 18, where she admitted drink driving.

Records show that when the 43-year-old was pulled over in Martin Lane, Bawtry, Doncaster, she blew 81mg of alcohol to 100ml of breath, when the legal limit is 35mg.

Magistrates disqualified Harper, of East View, Bawtry, Doncaster, for a total of 18 months when she appeared before the court, but was offered a drink-drive rehabilitation course.

This will reduce her disqualification by a total of 18 weeks, if completed successfully by December 11 next year.

She was also fined £180 and ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs, and a £34 victim surcharge.

She also admitted driving with no insurance but no separate penalty was imposed by magistrates.
