Doncaster street is sealed off by police after reports of shots being fired

Stoops Lane in Bessacarr has been cordoned off and people living in the area have reported heavy police activity in the area.

The street has been sealed off close to the junction with Hallam Close and Whitton Close.

Residents in the area have reported hearing shots being fired in the area at around 1am.

Another described police ‘swarming around Bessacarr’ describing ‘patrol cars and officers everywhere.’
