Lyndale Avenue in Edenthorpe has been closed, with a number of police vehicles and officers at the scene.
The road connects Thorne Road with the Fieldside estate, near to the Edenthorpe Toby Carvery.
There have been a number of incidents in the Edenthorpe area in recent days, understood to be connected to an ongoing gang feud.
